Croftsmuir Steading is in a superb location offering peace and quiet in some of Scotland's most beautiful countryside just 30 minutes northeast of the 'City of Discovery', Dundee and less than 5 miles from the town of Arbroath, made famous for its connection with the 1320 Declaration of Arbroath, its Abbey and Arbroath Smokies. Carnoustie, Montrose, Brechin, Forfar, St.Andrews, Perth, Stonehaven and Aberdeen are all within easy reach making this the perfect base!

As soon as you arrive at Croftsmuir Steading you will find us warm and welcoming and know you have found somewhere rather special. The house was once part of a dairy farm and renovated as you see it today. It has a large garden with arable land on all sides, leading to breathtaking views of the countryside with its variety of peaceful and calming landscapes.

Before setting off for the day you can "fuel up" with a hearty Scottish Breakfast cooked by your hostess. We source the very best local and regional produce, and cook it in a traditional Scottish way. There is a delicious breakfast menu with a wide variety of dishes and special diets can easily be catered for.
